This is because it no longer is strong, in fact it's very weak. Now it takes many coats to cover a surface and is easily marked or rubbed away.
In fact it is now known as emulsion paint.

I wish there was an effective pesticide for garden imp.

Jestadud, your wish is granted. However, because 'women lie about their age', and many PTSD sufferers are sensitive about their personal information, you can not believe what anyone has been forced to post. You prefered it when people gave information willingly.
