Just want to say that we here in Argentina we have great expectations for the match of tomorrow between Argentina and Germany in South Africa.

Though I am not an argentinean, Argentina has proved to be pretty good so far. The players have a lot of experience and with Messi, germans had better to play vey fast. Germany's players on the other side are younger, more fit physically and taller.

I am sure it will a very gripping match.

aaawww .... sorry for the disappointing game.
I must just tell you that here in South Africa, there was PLENTY of support for Argentina. Argentinian flags flying high in the street and plenty of blue and white everywhere.

When our boys were kicked out (sob...sob) we were all encouraged to choose other teams to support and i must tell you, we did. Now we are onto the semis and it is getting difficult deciding whom to support :)
It has been such fun having the World Cup here, the atmosphere is amazing and people are generally in a holiday mood and taking it easy. I made it to one friendly game, but unfortunately not to any official matches, the ticket price is OUTRAGEOUS! The fan parks however are amazing and we can even book in at cinemas to view games - such fun!

I hope you are still enjoying the beautiful game - all the way to the end!

Hello Shiraz,

4 to 0 is too much!!:dontknow: The most pessimistic was 2 to 1 so it was a real surprise here and now everybody is sad and everyone (as always) is talking about how coaching should be (everybody is criticizing Maradona for his way of training "la selección albiceleste") Everyone's became an expert in Football these days...

Another surprise was the eliminating of mayor winners (France, Italy, Protugal,...) When Uruguay reached the semis, we still had some hope but alas...

Anyway, I am sure these days in South Africa are like a fiesta! I hope you' are enjoying that.

Let's see who'll be the champion.

A bit post festum here but here goes...It almost felt like Argentina gave up after conceding the 2nd goal :( I was rooting for them in that game... Though I have to confess I'm a huge Brazil fan so when they lost I was sad :( and then Ghana :( and Argentina :( but of hte team that were left...I was glad Paul the octopus was right and it ended up being Spain.

By the way, huge props to South Africa. You guys did a great job hosting! :)
