Sweetpea, that sounds pretty nice. I wish you lots and lots of fun!
We had a nice New Years Eve, cancelled the babysitter and met with another couple, who also has a child.
I think I could get used to things I like being cancelled but I hate it when there is no communication. My hubby does not tell me that we don't do X because he is afraid... no... he comes up with a phony reason. He can act very snobby.
When H is afraid of something he talks down to me, treats me like a kid, cracks hurtful or plain stupid jokes, blames me of being overly emotional and so on.
He does not understand that it hurts me too when plans are constantly cancelled.
We argue a lot because of this. Thankfully this New Years Eve was good and I will try to always have an alternative plan in future - one we made together.
