Weekly Social Weight Loss And Exercise Catch Up

Sunday should be my day to post, because today is exactly one week since I started this diet. I lost 11.6 lbs. total. Still have a nearly overwhelming way to go, but I am trying to focus on just eating healthy and staying with the protocol. Which isn't going to be easy, especially as the weight loss starts to slow down and my body gets use to taking in so little calories.

My goal, once the weight loss is achieved, is to maintain it by eating healthy and hopefully I will be able to exercise. I am not right now due to my illness, but I am hoping that the illness will also improve. One can hope. My family won't know what to do with me if it does!

Maybe this will merge with my previous post, but I am having difficulty getting the amount of water in. I drink tea, but that doesn't count towards water intake. I also drink water with lemon. Still I am not getting in enough. Any suggestions? I'm just not thirsty.

Wow purgemeofthepain, that is so amazing, you have done so well.

We can all look up to you and you can keep us motivated :D

Hey everyone I jump on the scales this morning and have lost 2 kilos (4.4 lb ) ya at last I didn't put on :D:D:D:D

I wonder if it's go anything to do with the fact that I've cut my seroquel down ?

Anyway I'm very happy hope it lasts, how is everyone else doing out there ?

I just found this thread and thought I'd write. I've gained 100 lbs in the last 12 years mostly do to inactivity and medications. I need to lose a whole person. My goal is much smaller than that though. I want to lose 20 lbs. by the time winter hits so I can fit back into my good winter coat. I will be off of lithium for the first time in 12 years as of this Wednesday. (Done under my psychiatrist's directions). The weight should start to come off more easily then. I did notice I lost 3 lbs. from the last time my doctor weighed me. I've been doing physical therapy exercises and swimming laps in the pool. I have to start walking laps again. This is a really good thread.
