@Sammyiam -awesome feed! Thank you for starting this post :)
@purgemeofthepain I like your type of routine, is there a particular day or days and times you do this everyday to help you stay on track?
ll!
When I was with my ex abuser my weight skyrocketed 70 pounds. It was interesting to me when my therapist explained that in some situations with abusers it is a sub conscience response to stress and avoidance, leading to bad health and hygiene. She told me that sometimes when someone is in an abusive situation the sub-conscience mind will put on weight regardless of the intake or work out routines because it's a defense mechanism, to avoid sexual contact, which I found interesting , have you ever heard of that?
Medications also play a role in it as well from what I understand because some of the chemicals involved play a role in weight loss and gain. The medications, or drugs or alcohol are eliminated from my life, so herbal recommendations besides daily vitamins you take would be interesting to know as well.
In the last two and a half almost three months my weight has decreased beyond normal levels,a averaging around five to seven pounds a week, which isn't healthy. So monitoring my nutrition and caloric intake with healthy foods, manage to maintain a weight loss but not at such drastic levels. ( which is something used in the past, lots of non meat proteins, no sugar and low carb intake, with whole grain replacements)
Right now some advice I seek from the forum is examples of daily routine lists, as that would help me out a lot if you have them. My problem isn't that I don't like to work out, it's the routine of a new lifestyle to incorporate ...... :/ habits take six weeks to form, if you have any thoughts I would appreciate it, thanks!
