Over stimulated new puppy equals disaster. Back to basics for the next few days... as she was out-played by my niece who just wore her out, and now she's back to random toilet stops and such around the house. Isolated and basics again...

Yes, she is our first together. Nicolette had a dog when I met her, and I've had dogs earlier in life... but none of a small, indoors bread. Lily is just adorable to us both... it's amazing how fast they grow on you. I never really had a bond with a pet before, not like this.

@anthony My long term confinement area materials arrive tomorrow! :woot: Super jealous of your fancy toilet, but I went with faux turf. I'm sure your puppy will make fun of my puppy's less trendy bathroom. :D

I was going to do faux turf, though everything I read the reviews said not to for a permanent solution, as it stinks after a few days, wash it, still stinks, and eventually you will toss it out after a couple of weeks because the smell won't come out. For us, in an apartment, decided it wasn't the best idea. I was going to stick with the pee pads... thinking it was just another expense to absorb for having an apartment pup... though when I found that toilet solution, viola! Longevity, low cost.

@Nicolette - how is @anthony sleeping? We've also got a new puppy and for the first time in two years Mr I Don't Sleep Well Because of My PTSD is so deeply asleep he can't hear the pup asking to go out to the toilet three times a night!!! :confused:

I love Lily's hairs. It's just very flexible. Look, when she takes bath they become flat, but when it gets toweled they fluff up. Magic! :D
