I just found out we got the house. The closing date is quick as it is a quick sale..it was an estate sale ( the gentlemans wife used to be my patient when we did palliative care) Anyway we could have the paprework done in two weeks all the renovations in another two or three and I will be out of here by mid Aug...just in time to get my son settled for high school!!!!!! I am sooo excited. It was meant to be...it has to have been. Again it is so nice to not post a vent or a whine but something very positive!!!!!:occasion:
 
I am so very happy for you! Am I correct to assume that you already know the layout of this house well?
 
Oh..yes and I have many ideas. I love ikea and it is not expensive. My mother is giving me her large tv and buying a flat screen, so my son will have two but this is 50", I beleive. I am buying a new bedroom set and my son is getting mine...the less change for me the better and he likes that bed and the new mattress is comfortable!!! No more sleeping on the couch!!!

She is going to have all the hard wood floor re-donover over in my area and she wants( central air and i think cental vac too) new carpet and a handy man will be there to paint so it will be in move in conditions and I can be as ocd as I want and clean and organize and de-clutter my life. It is a nice well built fully brick bungalow with a garage with power, two bathrooms and two kitchens. The yardwork was kept immaculate and it was worth the wait and all the messing around..we really got a good deal....and we can still enjowy some of the good weather there. I will not be stuck in here all winter or all summer for that matter. I have to give 6o days but i am moving the soonest day i can get out...Time to start working ngetting more boxes and totes for boxes and packing but I really always seem to get it done..seem to be able to be ok with a time frame!!!Now the hard part I have to help...UUUGGGHHH!!!!
 
Congrats, Pandora. I agree that when it's meant to be it happens quickly. Same thing happened in our home. It's like all of the tumblers line up, click and bingo, the lock opens and you're home.

Remember to pace yourself on the packing and moving and don't overdo. Also remember that good stress is still stress and moving is a big one. Sorry...just a mom moment there. LOL

Well the closing date is going to be July 27th..OMG..OMG..OMG...That means as soon as I can have the floors done and the painting done..I am hoping to be out of here the first week of August!!!!!!! Whoo Hoo...I cannot wait to get out of here and away from this freak next door!!! OH...to be able to go outside again and not feel like I am being watched, this is awesome!!! I cannot beleive how well it turned out..our patience payed off!!! My mother and My son are soooo excited too...going to my Mothers to sign the last of the paperwork later this afternoon!!!! Today is the 9th...that is only 3 weeks away!!!!!!! Time to get packing!!!! I have to not let this good stress overcome me...I have alot to do!!! I am definately not complaining, I am so excited, I just feel like jumping up and down. When my Mom told me yesterday...I started screaming and she was crying...we were quite a pair!!!!
