Hello Everyone!
Come and join me on an adventure. Soon I hope to have some worthy (or unworthy, that's okay, too) companions to join me on my quest, but first, there's a castle to explore. Now this is no ordinary castle - from the outside it changes..uummm...architecture. At the moment it is emulating a split-level ranch house with psychedelic shag carpeting in the basement, circa 1965. Apparently, the castle has an odd sense of humor.
Wered World is...well, weird. Basically, anything goes, as long as it's family friendly. I'll start it and please don't be shy or think your additions/posts won't be good. Some of the best stuff I've seen written on a thread like this comes out of thin air by people who think they wouldn't be good at it. Besides, when the slightest thing happens in Wered World, the results can be quite mind-blowing at times.
Our story begins with Werewoman sitting on the floor in the main room of the castle next to some contraption that's whining loudly. She ignores Ralph's whining, as he tends to be rather overdramatic. Ok, so he's a hysterical robot butler, but he's very handy to have around. Werewoman (hereafter known as WW or if you prefer to spell it out, Dubyadubya) reached back into her toolbox and pulled out a torque wrench which she used to properly tighten Ralph's wheels. Ralph screamed like a girl and raised his head to see what was happening. WW gently and lovingly grabbed his metallic face and pushed his head back down to the floor. Ralph groaned and dramatically draped the back of his left hand across his forehead. WW then got up off the floor and moved to repeat the adjustment on his opposite wheel. Ralph repeated his loud, overly dramatic protests as well. WW sighed and put her tools away as Ralph stood up on his Segway wheels and quickly rolled back and forth, then in a circle. Satisfied, he turned and darted off towards his valet closet to change his waistcoat. He had spotted a speck of dirt on the left shoulder and had to change immediately. One must never soil one's waistcoat. It simply isn't done!
Now that Ralph was fully functional again, WW decided to take a break for a while. She sensed there would soon be changes and she felt the need to prepare just in case. Especially since her senses were rarely wrong. Though she passed for human with her long red locks of hair streaming down her back, she was regularly forced to return to her original home deep in the forest within the safety of The Thousand Year Old Tree. She thought it was probably older than that, especially since she still remembered the day her Ancestors planted it. At least, she was pretty sure it was the same one. Not that it mattered. She was the last of her kind, as all the others were killed off centuries ago. She looked up from her musings of her home and looked into the mural on the wall. She was delighted to see it chose to be a picture of a lovely beach - probably the west coast of Florida. She hoped so. Anna-Maria Island was her favorite. She grinned widely as she lifted her right foot and stepped into the mural.
And with that...who wants to be next?
