I've seen a few rebuttals and such,
@JadesJewel , but not that particular one. Thanks for sharing! I'll check it out later tonight.
Living fully immersed in both worlds of vastly differing consumption habits has been more than enough to fully convince me beyond any shadow of a doubt. Prior to the drastic changes I made, I suffered so much more, both physically and mentally.
My heart and my body live and function much more comfortably with more mindful consumption by leaving animals and as much artificial stuff as possible off of my plate, however, it definitely remains the most challenging transition I ever faced and continue to work through.
My mind continues to wrestle with why it seems to remain such a foreign concept (other than knowing how healthy options aren't made readily available) and isn't more readily accepted everywhere, even more so as a survivor of multiple rapes and many forms of physical abuse.
Knowing other living things are being purposely bred to be treated in such shitty ways to provide products that aren't actually necessary for our bodies to healthily exist just baffles me. Until I directly lived it, I thought it was just a bunch of lies and a poor attempt to make others look bad who were doing much better in business pursuits than the ones sharing information were.
