What Are You Feeling Today? Not Thinking, Rather Feeling! Can You Identify Yours?

I'm feeling excited and a little scared. H and I have just ordered stuff to wear for a beach party on the 1st Dec. Grass skirts, hawaiian shirts, lei and pineapple sunglasses - scary.

I'm a little sad as H is going away today until Thursday. I will miss him although it is helping that I am meeting Crafty Cath on Tuesday, the drive is the part I'm not looking forward to. C'mon KP, keep pushing that comfort zone.

I am in a lot of pain today in my right arm, neck and between my shoulders

That happened to me two years ago. I started losing feeling in my fingers. It has started before I went to a family reunion. Seemed to get better, then I went to the reunion and woke up with horrible pain. Lasted quite awhile before I finally saw my doctor. He sent me to a pain specialist who prescribed gabapentin and physical therapy. I mostly did the exercises in the pt office (bad about doing them at home). She also used this massage thing that reminded me of the ultrasound tool they use at my heart appointments. After a month of this I was good to go. Also, whenever I would feel the pain coming back, I would roll my shoulders up and back and that seemed to stave it off. They weren't sure I would get the feeling back in my fingers, but, thankfully, I did.

That whole story just to tell you mine was stress related and I will keep my fingers crossed that that is all yours is. Sorry for the rambling.

I think I alternated between heat and cold. I also used ben gay type stuff and put those heat patches on the area that hurt.
