Yes. My father and his generation before him were very much racist and I try to not buy into that old school type of thinking or let the media cause me to fear other races. It's like hating me because I am caucasian, but not knowing that I am of Germanic-Celt and Portuguese-Cherokee ancestry.... So how can I in good conscious group others into stereotypes and judge them? All I know is that it is wrong and unfair and I hope to avoid letting fear responses rule me.

You want to steal do it when she's at school. What kind of example is that setting for a child? To see her mother hauled off in handcuffs?

It's poor/inappropriate parenting if you ask me.

@Heather, not every parent has the choice to do better immediately. Or send their kids to school while we're at it.

Or leave them wherever the hell without proximity to them.

That mother took her child with herself. While she's doing something dangerous, true. But she kept her child with herself. Which is way better than abandoning them or leaving them waiting somewhere else they could come to more harm.

@Cashew I respectfully disagree with your statements. She had a choice and chose to act in an illegal manner, while giving her daughter a ringside seat to witness bad and illegal behavior.

@Heather, I'm not arguing the 'it's better to act legally, if an option', just saying without knowing the full situation, judgment isn't the first thing to jump to, because we lack the fuller picture of her & her kid's situation. She could be in much worse situation than many of us here.

Reselling items that I bought with coupons (retail fraud), stealing stuff, calling my former T a dumb bitch, pretending to be sick, using fake coins in vending machines, cussed at my grandma multiple times (she's a bad influence anyway), taking rides on public transportation without tickets.... I was even permanently banned from the public pool when I was six because I kept trying to drown other kids in it. I stole my mom's money all the time when she was around to get by and parent myself, buuuuut I don't feel the slightest tinge of guilt over that now because she stole mine on a regular basis. Oh, and the $200 external hard drive that I paid for. She always had at least $800 at home because she was too stupid to set up a bank account. :hilarious:

I know that this post is really old, but I did the same thing too... Except I pooped in the corner of my sewing/fabric pile and got rid of it the next day. My mom also had issues with hoarding and I was so bothered by her sheer amount of stuff (she kept most of it in my room) that I peed on it and said the cats did it in order to get rid of it. My cats used the tub as their litterbox for a very long time, so it was believable.

I know this is horrible. I even love animals, creatures, etc.

Whenever I see a slug I exclaim "quick! Get the salt!" And of course nobody ever lets me. Now it's just a joke, as a kid, not so much. (Stupid stuff I actually did as a kid. I remember a friend running home to get a salt shaker so we could torture this huge slug we found.)

I haven't actually salted a slug in years. Probably since I was 10. At least I wasn't labeled a sociopath for my torture of one of gods creatures. :(
