What is the strangest thing you have brought to your therapy session?

I've brought both my dogs, but not at once. A blanket once., a book about Asperger's..but the weirdest thing? I've brought a wooden stick-sword so we could do bokken practice in the office dojo. I would not hesitate to bring my real katana for him to see if the subject ever comes up (gotta love a T who's a fellow Martial Artist).

Not all that weird, but I brought my favorite stuffed animal to hold while I talked about some really bad events.
It took me a session or two before I felt OK with doing it, but my T encouraged me a lot and eventually I stopped feeling self-conscious about it.

Yes, I took my pandas. Not for comfort, but because they are an important part of my support system, and give me really good advice. I thought they should meet each other.

T often asks after them, and says she loves the main one.

Oh man I’ve got to know the story behind

I didn’t have support pandas, so talking to overlefts of jaws as full of souls had to suffice.

(More like, Black boxes never reveal anything useful, just check that, T. All this digging in the old is wasting our both time, demonstration.)

A muffin (home made) , a bag of Ginger lollies (to share). A eggplant chocolate cake...(to share) My grocery shopping (not to share) lol,

My go bag for the pool.

Old files, newspaper cuttings - oh lots of odd things.

But at the time I really didn't think they were so odd. Well.. maybe just a little. lol
