The farthest I ever got in a group was 50.

Thats a good one. I used to do that to get myself to go to sleep. As long as i was concentrating and didnt loose the number i was on, i got to 0 a few times.

That's why I always fly Southwest if I can. Those cheap come-on fares mean nothing if you ----gasp!---- actually want to change clothes on your trip! I'm fortunate that they have a hub nearby.

Just moving around & reading, me. Airports are one of the places I don't screw around at, no matter how bored I am.

In my defense there were about 20 of us who were driven about half crazy by that advertisement and by the end of about 3 hours of listening to it there were SEVERAL of us, reciting the damn this and LOUDLY groaning about the video. Then we were all kicked out and told to go find rooms for the night since our flights had been cancelled (it was a tiny one gate airport) and the airport closed at midnight.

Come face to face with a former rapist (date rapist) in Atlanta. He recognized me and called out to me by name... it came to me when I actually looked at him. I went straight to the bar, pounded three double Jacks and got on the plane to come home.

That was the weirdest thing that ever happened to me in an airport.

Me and mister had an evening flight bump (the last one to our destination at O Hare/Chi town) and we had to sleep on the floor til the morning cuz they had metal benches. Never flew through Chicago again. Mister slept better than I did... I kept thinking "ew, how many people have walked on this flooring and what did they have on their shoes"?

If you ask non PTSD people, they'd say the "weirdest" thing I've done in an airport is have an episode of sorts.

"Weird" to them = "just another Tuesday" to me!

Laid down on one of those metal benches to try to sleep. I was there to pick someone (ex-husband) up. He was flying Sun Country from AZ. The plane had a mechanical problem and they had to fly another plane from MSP to Phoenix to pick them up. Was supposed to arrive around 11:30 PM. Really arrived WAY after that. Also spent part of the time listening to other waiting people tell Sun Country horror stories. There were some good ones!

There are moving walkways near to me. I tried to walk on them, against the flow of traffic, in the opposite direction of the moving walkway. It was funny at the time...
