I am angry today that i was told i was entitled to industrial injury benefit and had go medical to assess how much it affects me. The medical wasn't nice the lady well you can tell they are trying to pick you apart. I now have a letter saying cause i have no loss of function of a body part or something like that i am not entitled to it. It makes me so angry they put you through all that for nothing. Someone who sits and assess you has the say when they are trying to make you sweat and anxious. I am not appealing to hell with them all, i hate the benefits system. All i need now is to be called for a medical for my employment allowance. Rant over.

Oh Sazza, don't get me started on the benefits system. I am so P O'ed that I am missing 4.5 quarters to qualify for SSDI (social security disability insurance) which amounts to $4,500. This makes me not entitled to it! I taught my buns off for years, was a productive member of society, raised 2 kids alone with a no good absent family and non child support paying father, and now this. I am trying to get the strength up to fight it. Will get lawyer's name from friend tonight, I hope...sorry you had to go through that too...the system is like Hal the computer from 2001...that does not compute.

No one came to my friends room (aids or nurse) from 7 am to 10 am... they didn't bring her breakfast tray for over an hour (and it was "on the hall")... I got it myself and when it came there was nothing for her to drink on it. I pasted the smile on my face but I was really pissed at the aides today. Though, one of the Administrators is a former coworker I new from 30 years ago in electronics and anothe big shot, recognized me from when I was in Recreation/Restorative at my former facility... hmmmm... 4 people know me... they'd better be taking care of my friend, eh?

The elevator at my work decided to go out this week of all weeks. My back was feeling much better, but six flights of stairs (plus being 200lbs, having asthma, and smoking...) later, not so much tonight. :/

I'm angry at the lies in my head, the lost time, and the fact that I have no idea how to manage the basics. I feel like an alien trying to connect with myself.

I did the same thing, Sandra. He turned into a pod person. Or was he always that person...just a good actor? Yes, I too trusted a jerk.

That just shows how low they are SoulofLC. And how sad it is when they aren't seeing themselves. Or are in denial about it. Sad for their sake. And yes they sure learn to become a good actor, and that goes for any Dr.Jekyl/Mr.Hyde which is what they are.

How true! Only I and my family get to see Mr. Hyde...so painful. Not the court, not our friends.
