What Moved You Emotionally Today?

A line in a book moved me today. It was something about people deserving their lives, no matter what.

A phone call from my manager, offering me support and accommodations to help me get back to work. It was sweet (not that I'd tell him that).

Therapy. I cried like I've never cried before.

Talking with my mentor. Happy someone thinks in images and is able to understand concretes in abstracts and offer other ideas.

A report about a village close by where local children donated their own toy animals for refugee children.

So many generous people putting free stuff on the Internet in order to assist other people. Amazing stuff!

I had this moment today, when it was sitting in the sun, feeling the heat on the back of my neck, painting the new fence posts.

All I could hear was the singing of the birds, and the insects flying past me, and the sound of brush spreading the paint. It gave me a fantastic feeling of tranquility and being alive, it was an emotional moment for me.

The amount of support I got from my facebook walking group, when I put myself out there and posted a picture of myself for the first time. I said I hate pictures of myself, but I am trying to get serious about losing weight and getting as healthy as my body is able to. So many people liked and commented positive support and amazing things, that my eyes welled up with tears towards the end of reading all of them. I thought there might be a little support, but not to the magnitude I received. It was amazing and encouraging me. I feel blessed.

My mother's reaction when I told her while crying that I wouldn't be able to make my tour as I said...

She was very calming and supportive. I'm not used to this but it didn't feel bad.
