Seeing my daughters boyfriend give my daughter a beautiful ring to wear as a early birthday present. They seem to be a very good match.

Yesterday I saw the largest soft shelled turtle I have ever seen.

My husband jump the fence with his new reciprocating saw to help the neighbour slaughter the Bird of Paradise plant the neighbour was trying to cut down. (he is what we commonly refer to as a Chainsaw Gardener). He hates trees, bushes that dare to grow and squirts possums in the face with ammonia if they dare to try to cross the power lines. I swear this guy hates nature. They worked away at the bush for ages, bangin' on about the man tool and then sat down and had a beer. Good old fashioned times. All that was missing was scratching their goolies.

A smile on my pastor's face when I came to see her because I needed help. She listened to my problems, helped me and prayed with me too. It was great.

I went and called into a new friend I have made, She is an artist and has just retired from full time work and is going to do art full time, She has worked hard all her life and is enjoying her art so much. She told me she has been thinking about me and would like to adopt me into their family so she can be a mum figure for me. It made me cry. I have never had a mum to have a hug from so I gave her a hug today, It felt different than the last one I gave my mum 15 years ago. It felt way better.
