So back on the subject, I don't agree with the concept of white privilege. It doesn't take into account individual people's entire life experiences and is a blanket statement that assumes everyone fits into this cookie cutter shape of privilege. It doesn't because not everyone who is white gets all these privileges. If you claim something is true, you have to prove it's true. You can't claim some unseeable thing is actually real. You can have faith it's real. You just can't expect everyone else to believe it.

@Lucky Duck, multiple people in this thread and others have proven it is true. By their lived experiences. Which you claim, quote, 'trying to make it about you', where barely hinted at what these experiences contain.

You are gaslighting people, you are dehumanizing, you're silencing, you're doing multiple things that actively hurt people. Not a sensible thing. That something is a matter of words to you? Of intellectual concepts? Of intellectual concepts that you refuse to acknowledge have been proved, by multiple sciences, to work a certain way? And, in fact, if I wasn't wanting to talk to you? I would not be pointing errors in your thinking, based on preconceptions of what any oppression is, or isn't, that don't hold true to reality - objectively, worldwide, not just an experience of one person or a few.

There were multiple posters on the same thread who, even with different lived experiences, were acknowledging of those facts; the very thread was started from a position of acknowledgment, and academic study, of those phenomena.

@Whispering_Truth, please don't assume a debate thread will have people coming with need to be silent on matters that affect them. Or that there's a need for that silence.
