Why Them, And Not Me?

You are more than welcome therisa. I don't know much about the transitioning you are going through but I have heard it is very difficult at first. I wish you success with it and truly hope it works for you.

The accepting and loving ourselves is extremely hard work but I believe it is the base we build everything else on.

My transitioning is, correcting a genetic mistake that saw me, born in a male body, instead of, a female one. And yes, it can be very traumatic, when you encounter hate and violence, just like being abused, by a love one, or by a friend. But, it can also very loving and supportive, when your family accepts you, for who, you are. Does this help you, Cathy?

By transitioning, I have finally, felt comfortable with my feminine voice, than my male one, which is a huge step, in loving and accepting myself.

Thank you Therisa, you are very brave.

I'm so glad you have support and that you are more comfortable with the 'new you.'

There are so many people who seem to look perfect and have it all who just can't love or accept themselves - so way to go you!
