I rarely touch our Wii. My daughter, however, used to LOVE to play tennis on it. Then she decided that she wanted to play real tennis. She begged and begged until she wore me down and she's been taking tennis lessons ever since. I don't think she's picked up the Wii tennis since then. (She's 5 now, but was only 4 when she discovered her love and knack for tennis thanks to the Wii!!) She actually plays pretty well for her age. She's developing an awesome swing and her coach loves her enthusiasm. :smile:

I played the Wii for the first time the other night (I know, I know we are a bit backwards in Australia, I mean slow, I mean behind, you know what I mean)

My friends made me do the fitness test straight up :-{ Apparently I'm 80!!! I don't look a day over 79!!!

That is funny Clydie... Nicolette does that Wii exercise stuff and I remember hers first telling her she was some way older age or something like that... and if my memory serves correctly, she wanted to pick it up then and there, day one, and throw it out the door. Chuckle... funny.

Hey at least I wasn't 80! Maybe 60ish. I did good today and got Yoga trainer on some exercises but my son was in hysterics watching me saying "that's not how you do it mum"....oh well, can't be good at everything!

Can't wait to fit my bum on that balance board! I love the Yoga pose on the box!!! Must get me some fishnets, that's what us oldies where to Yoga you know :-}

Hey Nicolette, I'll keep practising and tell you when I get down to 60ish!!! May take a while. Have been looking on Ebay for a Wii of my own though.

Bowling huh, OK you up for a challenge in the Bahamas Anthony.

I wasted so many hours when I was at college at the bowling alley and in the years since, I still have the knack for getting strikes first time.

Looks like I'm heading back there or stealing my daughters Wii, this could be interesting now Nicolette.:wink:

Hmmm, I love the Wii Resort. I have a perfect 300 game, and a perfect 3000 game. The only stamps I am missing are the split on the 10 pin game and the mystery strike on the 100 pin game. The controller almost ended up in the pool. lol.

A funny story. I used to be 110 kg and lost a lot of wait using a treadmill and tiger woods golf. I used to hit the ball and walk the distance to the ball on the treadmill. So there is a positive side to everything.

Damn straight... I used to also bowl... pretty much from childhood actually, as my mother was always involved in it with the bowling alley, so all us kids pretty much joined leagues from when we were knee high. I've bowled a perfect 300 on a lane before, just not when I was playing in a league. Still haven't done it though on the Wii... close at around 280, but not yet a perfect one on that machine. Oh... I did bowl a perfect 300 actually in a league tournament, but it was an 8 or more tournament, so that obviously doesn't count.

Looks like I'm going to have to dust off my Wii, get some new batteries, and see if I can beat your tennis score Anthony ;)
Bring It... saying this coming from the person who just took an overnight dive from 1850 to 1730 at the moment. Dead set want to take myself outside and give myself 10 uppercuts to wakeup to myself, then give it another crack.

Looks like we will have to all bring our Wii remotes to the Bahamas. Do you know if the Wii's can be linked by a switch. Going to try Tennis now. You have me keen.
