You Know You Have PTSD When...

@Ronin: In German there's a reading for "team" - "toll, ein anderer macht's" (great, another one will do the work)...:cautious::D

When you freak out because you'll have to stay longer at work several times in near future and don't know how and when you get some self care time. :(

@Ronin Sorry for using the old nickname...stupid me. :notworthy:

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll keep it in my mind - and be more strict about my yoga breaks and sports maybe...

My chief won't take me off for the times when my group leader (I'm his vice) isn't there - and so I will have to be present from 07:30 until 04:30...would be okay if I didn't start work at six in the morning because of the huge traffic jams...I'll make a lot of overtime in that stupid system...:cautious:

...I'll try to figure out more self care opportunities during work. Thank you.

@Anrish, nothing stupid at all, and it was understood who you mean and I grok'd I'm called, so no issue anywhere.

Sounds you are spending a lot of the time commuting - is there any way to use that time for some added relaxation, even if for little details like having soothing music in the car if you are driving, changing the decorations, if not driving, napping or small stretching on the way to work and out of there, drawing something comforting, having a cup of tea or coffee or whichever gets you going in the mornings and able to walk home without being groggy in the evenings, things like that?

Some times small things send big messages.

@Ronin : Thank you. I hope I won't get it wrong too often in the near future - just got sooo used to Cashew and have good association with the name.

I think there are ways to include your suggestions. Thank you. I have to reduce my fighting, I think. I usually travel one part to work by car, the other one by subway...I always try to ride the subway without my headphones - like confronting myself with my surroundings and not shutting them out. I'll reduce that for sure...I don't need any self induced hardships. Thank you for making me realizing that.
