When you perceive yourself as heartless when you try to get close to people.
Acutely aware of all the ways you could hurt them, or have hurt others in the past, or someone else hurt them while you didn't do nearly enough, or did more than enough and it wasn't enough, or --- Ok, anxiety stops my philosophy.

When you silently freak out because your usual chair in the waiting room is GONE, and you now have to sit opposite another waiting patient. You jump a mile high and try to shrink into your therapist's couch when her phone unexpectedly rings ... or when her timer goes off, despite knowing it's going to do so every single week.
When you actually need someone in a shop to advise you - but you don't have the courage to ask someone. ...and your best friend has to pull you to one of the employees...:(
