When you notice that your «controling powers» about people, events, and all around doesn't work and that makes you crazy :eek:
When someone close says to you «let it go» and you go like ¡¡¿What??!:wideeyed:
When your best plan is going back to bed :chicken:
 
not getting out of bed to begin with ...

My week this week

Get out of bed
Get out of bed and take shower
Get out of bed and take shower and get dressed
Get out of bed and take shower and get dressed and dry hair
Get out of bed and take shower and get dressed and dry hair and put on warpaint...

...when normal daily activities exceed the stress bearing capacities of meltdown! meltdown! Warning! meltdown... Sigh.
 
Couple days ago...

...when you wake up with one eye swollen shut, face glued to the ground, crusted, difficulty breathing, aching pain everywhere, blinding headache... And your first thought is Hold perfectly still. Don't let them know you're awake.

20 minutes later, after running full inventory? Including a rather gaping memory hole of how the hell I got this way >.< ?

Oh. Right. I'm sick. FFS. Why the hell isn't that my first thought??? Dried mucus & dried blood feels different you stupid idiot. Get up. Wash up. Grumble grumble grumble. Outstanding.

To be fair, I not only was sick (and therefore pretty brainless) but hadn't had coffee, yet, either. Which even under ideal circumstances means it usually takes a little while to find 2 brain cells to rub together to get a spark. Still, though. Vexing.
 
When you have learned to use sleep deprivation as a tool. Got an unpleasant chore you need to deal with? Wait until you are so damned tired you don't give a f*ck and then do it. It cuts down on pre action anxiety.

When you actually could sleep if you wanted too because all the stars are lined up properly that need to be in place for a semi decent night sleep, but you choose not to even though sleep sleep is previous and rare because you are a pro at going with out sleep but still suck at dealing with anxiety.
