You catch your self for duality of thought reading a really sad story about neglect - both it was sad that the six year old was making dry ramen and taking care of the babies but also ... at six couldn’t boil a kettle- Neglect and duty looks different in different homes. It was wrong in the western world mindset that I COULD boil a kettle at that age.

When the new baby is waking EVERYONE up at 4am, so instead of sitting, alone, in the dark... it’s a PARTY! Yay! Other people are up, too!!! (Time to go hide in the basement and play video games.)

For the record? I really like this kid. 4am is when we SHOULD be getting up, darn it. :p My peopling skills are just at a near all time low. Fortunately, the baby distracts everyone else, and I make a clean gettaway.

:hilarious: I did the same thing yesterday... and today. :bag: Even though there are currently 4 generations from 2 continents under my parents roof, FOR the holiday, and it’s decorated to the 9’s. And I just did that yesterday, too. So even if I got a pass the day before, today is just FFS. Hello! Brain! Care to join us??? :woot:

Lmao. Party. Party is going on next week. First celebrating getting through the legal stuff, and then even the courthouse agrees it's a party time... only packs up more reindeers to that gig.
