You Know You Have PTSD When...

When after a long day of work you sit down on the sofa and consider the fact that no one's called your phone all day. Nevertheless, it needs to be recharged so get up and look for it, in your purse, coat pocket, the bedroom, the kitchen, the dinning room table, and surfaces in the living room. You go outside and check the car, come back in and check your purse and pockets again, and the bathroom. Finally, you give up and sit back down on the sofa, reach for the remote and the frickin' phone rings and you just about jump out of your skin and become pissed because you were startled by the phone that was next to where you put it when you first sat down on the sofa! :banghead:  :speechless: :clown: :woot:

One time my alarm clock went off and I had been sleeping so deeply, I stumbled over to the phone, answered it and got really annoyed with the caller not saying anything! Of course, nobody had called, the alarm clock continued to ring! Took me a while to figure out how "the phone" could still be ringing while I had answered it... :D
