Exhausted About Now

I have been using various techniques to get through the day and just ran a thread where I received great advice from a few members. One was to play some games on the Smart Phone that are free. The other of course is Mindfulness Meditation.

Games that I like to play so far that are free:
Angry Birds Transformers
Panda Pop
Word Bubbles
as well some others not listed- I have tried, but I deleted them to make room to explore new ones.

I have found a a strong correlation to that of being present in the moment and that of success within the games. If I go into a rumination mode...my characters promptly end up being blown up. Negative reinforcement perhaps but I am learning how to break cycles quicker within the immediate outcome:rolleyes: than when I wandered in meditation. Excellent visual to go oops by.:clown:

As a result, I have (shhh secret) had more fun, feel like I am winning during the day, see tangible results, get dopamine hits which all seem to elevate my mood and assist with not feeling so darn depressed. Regulation of time is advisable in order to still accomplish needed goal sets in 3D life and not avoid.

So enjoy the challenge to have a little fun. Tagging member to share list (excuse please) @Changeling

Best of wishes to heal in your journey @Pakadlangitok !

ps...make sure you keep the cell data off in your settings to avoid cost if your minutes are limited.

:roflmao: its funny how much we can learn from a person from their game choices. Angry birds are ok but my main games need to be very hard puzzle games or else my brain isnt distracted.

Reversi is a new game I just downloaded thats rather cool. Zuma like one called Marble Ledged, Lazors is rather hard on some levels and there are MANY, 8 ball pool (the facebook one), majong at times, checkers & solitare if im that bored though it doesnt hold my attention long as i win every game, one called Maze that has very cool graphics and is hard enough (Space Maze was ok but I didnt like it as much), two cool games called Funzy Bloc and Lyfoes, and my favorite of all time but had to uninstall as i finished all the levels is Rolling Cube. I didnt put it down til i finished all levels. Astrobomer i had but beat in 30 mins, not enough free levels. I also like Balance 3D but theres a level where its impossible to get the ball from a tube thats broken and a bit lower than the one you are go into. After months of trying and trying to find an alternate route and found there isnt one i gave up and uninsalled it but it was fun til then.

Im not a Candy Crush person. But either way theres a ton of great games on a mobile device or even a computer. My step mom has Big Fish games on her PC and i found some ok games on it. Games are good distractors at times but theres times where even great games cant distract me.

ETA: Oh how did I forget facebook's Farkle (on mobile). It keeps my attention for a short while.

@Pakadlangitok - I hope the play here about games was good help and not just a distraction. I don't have a smart phone. (well I do but $ is low low). Sorry if we shifted your threads intent. How to turn off head games, with others help and how they go about it. Hatoful birds popping up, fly on one for a bit I will try, a good bird.

@Pakadlangitok I have an IPhone which is very small: you are so lucky to have an IPod! Have at it and keep us updated. There are even studies about research on games assisting Vets with PTSD scientifically somewhere on this board. lol  (((hugs)))
