I don't disagree with the concept of personal responsibility. But isn't this...
Then maybe, if he feels this is a real risk; that the poor little boy who doesn't know how to protect himself from these evil women, he shouldn't get drunk and be sexually active unless he with a known and trusted partner?
...Alot like "If you hadn't worn such a short skirt...."
This isn't an acceptable blame to place on the female victim. Why is the opposite ok?

Oh please...in junior high and high school, part of making out was getting "fingered." This is not rape. No 13 yr old is...
Wow. You just lost all credibility when you downplayed what that kid at Stanford did. Obviously you didn't see where he was ATTEMPTING TO RAPE HER AND WAS CAUGHT BY OTHER STUDENTS

Im saying I don't consider fingering while drunk to be on the same level as a savage rape. He was drunk and 18. She was drunk and 23. She passed out and he kept fondling her. He was wasted. Yes he's needs a slap on the wrist but can't you millennials understand this is not the same as a premeditated savage sadistic rape? He was drunk and fondled her. It's so different. There must be women on this forum that have experienced both savage rape and your run of the mill sex offense like this that can attest, there is a massive difference. This was not the crime of the century that millennials made it out to be. You kids are so dramatic and self righteous. I'm glad he was stopped but he's not a sociopathic rapist. Keep some perspective.

His victims life is ruined. She had injuries from forced insertion. They found pine needles and leave inside of her. That is pretty sick.

My ask whose rape are you trying to justify? Did your son or brother commit an act of rape and now you are trying to burying your head in the sand? Where you charged with rape and trying to maintain your innocence? I could be wrong about this, but I feel like you are trying to protect someone.

20 years ago I was sexually active and I can tell you that fingering was not apart of making out. It was the step just prior to sex. 1st base was kissing 2nd base was breast touching 3rd base fingering and sex was a home run.

I don't think you really answered @Atubs question. If I just randomly went up to some guy in a bar and shoved my finger up their ass they would charge me with assault. If I did that to my husband without asking him if he was comfortable with it, he would say that his was violated and sexually assaulted. The fact that we are married doesn't make a difference. Even in marriage if you are going to try something new, you make sure both people are on board with it.

So instead of learning from this and changing her behavior, she decides to literally ruin this guy's life. I was there that night, and she was all over this guy right up until the point that she dragged him off.
In other words, you were a witness... What did you do to help the guy, after she began to spread her lie(s) about what happened that night?
So what this girl did was ruin somebody's life,
Wouldn't you have had the duty or at least the decency to go to the police, or whomever was involved, and report what you saw and / or knew? You even could have done that anonymously... Did you, or did you not report her officially for false accusations?

These are his charges. You obviously have NO idea what you are talking about.

"Turner, 20, was convicted in March of the intent to commit rape of an intoxicated/unconscious person, penetration of an intoxicated person and penetration of an unconscious person."

And I'm not a freaking millennial.

The word fondled does not apply in the scenario you are speaking of. Fondling, to me, is spooning after great sex. The phrase is actually more like penetrating her or violating her. Your words are interestingly downplaying what you are speaking of and I am not sure I understand why.

The above quote can easily be a precursor to savage rape. It is imperative that society realize that there is no middle ground when it comes to the assault of others. Certainly not when it comes to one of a sexual nature.

You obviously have some sort of stake or agenda with this. You seem to be protesting too much.

So they were there when the four guys walked up on the victim and the perpetrator?

Spooning is not the same as fondling. Sorry
