@Tornadic Thoughts , ya, gravity and mirrors.... two of my worst enemies.... nope, and I think we would all be laughing so hard helping each other in and out of the pool, some one would get hurt.... and no to the group shower.... we are old ladies.... not in the 6th grade... we have seen enough horrors in our lives.. seeing each other naked but just be too much.... :watching:

Those of us who have broken things or have torn things will join a water aerobics class to keep moving.
I broke my leg Friday. I'm looking at the possibility of joining one just to keep moving and I'm one of those wierdos that like to do miles of laps in the pool

Sorry for the broken leg, @desiderata310 !!!! My right leg has been broken twice, my right ankle once and my right patella once... and it's my left leg that the knee collapses..... so get out there in that water girl.... and move... take care of yourself..... you are really going to feel this when you get older..

No to naked!!!! Do places still have group showers? I can't imagine and don't want to! At the very least I would shower still in my bathing suit trying to keep my eyes closed. No that wouldn't work I might bump into a naked! No to group showers. My life has had enough trauma thank you very much and I don't need new nightmare material.

Yes I am joking and I am sorry you hurt yourself. I think we just need to laugh at our insecurities. Truth be told I'm more comfortable in a bathing suit now than when I was young and had a body that made a bathing suit look good. I never wore one then. Not even any kind of shorts no matter how hot it was. I felt too exposed and vulnerable. There are some bonuses to aging when living with PTSD.
