It's raining here, too. I saw it on TV when it happened over Oregon. Pretty cool.

@hodge, ABC is videoing them all. WY was AMAZING! The sun was orange and OMG! The rays coming out from the sides of the moon. They are all so different. So gorgous!

I have tried to find a spot of solitude, but no luck..

Well, it's about as close to us as it's going to get. Still cloudy, but I can tell it's darker than a few minutes ago. Not dark enough to get the crickets going, though.

CNN and MSNBC are in Beatrice, Nebraska, where the totality just happened. It's getting a little cloudy there, too, but not like here.

I am not that far from totality, and I watched from my back yard. This is the second one I saw. I was so excited! I love seeing such a rare thing. All my chickens stopped their noise, one of my dogs tried to jump out the front window, and the mama chickens took their babies to bed. It was so quiet and cold all of the sudden! Amazing!

They could see Venus in Kelly, KY, and stars, at 1:30pm. Wow!

I took pictures on my phone of the news coverage if some want to see. I didnt get OR as I was taking video of it but if those that didn't get to watch the news coverage I'll post the pictures. One of them was green. It was amazing! They are all so different!

The sun came out for us but I don't think we got any coverage but the sun was easy to photograph which tells me that at least it was less bright here in Orlando.
