5 Things I'm Thinking Today

I made it through another mother episode with the help of meds, therapists, and crisis lines. And my handy dandy tool box of coping mechanisms.
I lost a chick today. I was sad, but raising chickens you lose two or three a year no matter how hard you try. Chickens are pretty bent on killing themselves accidentally.
Still pretty drugged, but able to work around the house a bit.
As soon as it cools off I'm going to work in my raised bed garden again, clearing pathways and adding soil to the beds, getting ready for fall planting.

4. if only this peace I feel currently could stay with me for a while, if nothing else only to regain some strength again

1 ~ I dont know what colour to dye my hair next. I've been pondering it for some time, had several ideas but none of them grabbed me really. Sort of fancy blond but the upkeep, and I don't know how to do it at the moment.

Packing for two seasons of weather so the little bag is stuffed.
Not cooking or baking, but grabbing ready made. At least I know where the good pies are and nothing beats Amish baked goods.
Think the dog bag is bigger than mine. :eek:
Excited about the weekend with the party and ready to get some progress on the boat.

[The Albatross]

1. First day of hunting season (archery)... mister's on his way about an hour south to meet someone and scout/hunt/learn from a subcontractor who hunts all over the world.
2. Glad he's gonna learn about the area from a knowledgeable person.
3. Sprained my little toe this time (what a dumb ass I am sometimes).
4. Grateful mister brought me a surprise but they need to be cleaned up and painted hammered copper - two 3 foot high metal crane/heron sculptures.
5. Worried for a friend that found out she needs surgical intervention for a broken foot/ankle - could affect her rehab but they are trying to really work with her and it's kinda inspirational how far/what lengths her doc's are willing to go.

1. The only worse thing than not asking is asking.
2. At least B2 doesn't mind signs & gestures together; for the same goddamn reason, even.
3. More food.
