My husband hand feeding the ciclids. I am not a huge fan of fish per se, and being married to someone obsessed with aquarism is trying at times..but the trickling in the tanks is very calming background sound.

Your dragon fly moment, @shatter eyes , reminded me of a flutter-by moment I had two years ago. I freed it from a web and it later flew over and landed on my skirt and hung out with me for about 20 minutes or so. Such a special moment. Grateful for the reminder. My nervous system appreciates this thread and the nudge to go dig up this shot:

What a wonderful thread!!! I LOVED all your photos. They made me happy looking at them. It is fun seeing what others "see" through the lens of their cameras. I'm excited to join the group and share some of my favorite photos, too.

II love snow photos. This is a photo through the woods looking at Elbe Lake on the way to Mount Rainier.

@shatter eyes - Thank you! I used a Nikon D5600 (DSLR). My grandfather left me his photography equipment when he passed. I recently upgraded his from old film camera to a digital body, but still use all his old lenses.
