I do own the image, but I’m on mobile so it’s not pristine  Will update once I’m on a real computer.

I really had a giggle when I imagined us all in the hospital waiting room. We'd be a strange mob indeed :p & I think we'd get booted out after 15 minutes! :hilarious:
But we would have fun seeing each other in real life for those 15 minutes!

Wonderful!

If I can compare to any point of reference in my life thus far, it would be to the many academic exams that I have sat.
You can prepare for weeks in advance, as best you can.
You can try to anticipate what it will be like.
But you can never really know, until you're there.
To continue the simile, I tell my kids what I found to be true of exams. The exam itself doesn't have to be the hard part. The hard part is getting ready for the exam. In the exam itself, you just need to show people how well you've prepared. You really have prepared as well as you possibly can!

To keep you company!
Awww, @Freida -- thank you  ????
I will save them to watch when I'm in hospital recovering!

Well, today was my last day at uni with a curvy spine!
Before I left, I wrote my future self a very detailed note about what I was last doing on my office computer so I'm less wtfo when I get back.

Tomorrow Tweeter and I will make the drive to my parents' house, because we'll be going from there to the hospital.

And then I just need to get my blood type confirmed in case I need a transfusion during/after surgery, and we'll be all systems go :)
