James I love your flora and fauna thread of the desert so thought maybe I'd start one where we can all post photos of our ara. Hope you don't mind!

I took these yesterday on a ride at a new horse camp 1 1/2 east of where I live in NW Oregon. This time of year the fungi and mushrooms abound. I always find them so interesting. What a beautifu fall afternoon!

Nice! If I felt better, it would inspire me to hike and take some nature shots!!! (and still no camera James!!! lol) but my iPhone would do for kicks. If I get about more I would love to add to this. Great idea. : )

Here's a few more shots from our ride. The flora and fauna changed dramatically from area to area that we rode thru. Quite beautiful!

These pics were taken last weekend, our Thanksgiving.. it was 20+ Celcieus, we usually have snow by now!!! The pic on the right is the bear that lives in my backyard, who I have to walk by every night for the past two months. He doesn't bother anybody, but I hate carrying pizza by him.

Those are very nice pictures Daisy_May. So beautiful. I'm jealous, wish I had a bear living in my back yard. LOL. Hey, got a Great Horned owl, seen it once. Got coyotes, but never seen them ever. Thanks so much for posting.
