We use the term 'sexual predators' and other familiar names to give a certain dramatic, horrific feel and ring-fence these people as separate from ourselves and gain a certain comfort in the knowledge they are not like us.

I suppose that's true some of the time. Personally, I think I use that term because there are people in the world who function as predators but their "reward" relates to sex, not nutrition. If you're a gazelle, it's a good idea to recognize a lion for what it is. I don't know if there are any studies of the subject at all, but I'd bet that "predator" mindset exists regardless of cultural differences in what's "ok" and what's not.

A class of drugs called anti-androgens, used as birth control (DepoProvera), to treat prostrate cancer and PCOS, and given to MTF transgenders, significantly reduces recidivism in male rapists and pedophiles. Sexual offenders don’t necessarily have more testosterone or androgen circulating in their bodies than non-offenders, but reducing their blood serum levels significantly reduces their sexual urges and willingness to commit offenses.

Dubbed chemical castration, it is considered a punishment, but in some regions men can elect to receive it in return for a reduced sentence.

These are the US states that allow it: California, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Wisconsin, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

These are the countries that allow it: South Africa, Argentina, India, Indonesia, Israel, Pakistan, South Korea, Estonia, Germany, Moldova, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand.

In the article I linked above Chinese researchers are advocating for China to approve its use.

I wonder if the places that allow it generally have higher rates of sexual crimes and therefore feel compelled to find ways to manage it, even if the method is considered inhumane by critics.

How can critics find this inhumane?

What rights are we depriving them of by offering this as a lesser punishment/potential treatment when there is none already?

And, on what basis is the entirely of civilization obligated to provide anything to these people who do so much undeniably grotesque harm to us as whole?

Do they prefer capital punishment, the death penalty, instead?
This is the case now in some places for aggravated rape but not sexual assault or forced sex with a minor in the home which is usually called incest or sexual abuse, not assault, and not the forced, unwilling rape of a child. I do believe our words have power as is illustrated in this type of situation of whether or not such an act can be virtually dismissible vs. deserving of the death penalty.

Gosh I’m a fan of cutting off their member, so what’s the big deal about this? Why do we have to defend the guilty and protect the rights of the guilty, why do the guilty have rights anyways, and especially in situations where there is irrefutable evidence against them? Who are we really protecting? Oh, it can infuriate me if I’m not careful. Oh, I will go onto a more positive thought next.

Although it does involve going arm deep, to prolapse and slice. Shrug. f*ck up someone else’s sexual organs, lose yours? Seems fair.

Similar to lying about it, lose your tongue AND your sexual organs.

No idea. Haven’t lived that. And if one hasn’t lived something? It’s pure speculation, what one thinks one would do, until one actually lives it, and finds out what they actually do. You’re a parent, so you’ve surely learned that lesson, yes?

It’s also arguable that I’ve never felt like a woman, as I’m 6 foot tall, served in the military, blah blah blah. And gender markers are given such predominance in our society. But I’m not a bloke. Not trans. Not a lesbian. Although I’ve certainly f*cked -probably more than- my share of absolutely delicious women. But? Still a girl, still digging being one, most of the time. Albeit, sometimes it’s obnoxious & annoying, and FFS NO.

I CAN say, having been gangraped daily (in a group setting, all the prisoners were gangraped), that it was a HELLUVA lot harder on the men being raped, than the women. As women are taught to expect rape. And men are taught not TO rape (nor provoke the fear of rape). So it entered into core belief territory, for the blokes, in ways it didn’t for the women. We were not LESS female for the assaults, abuses, violations, damage. Although the idea that one DESERVES those things? For being female? Is arguably just as brain melting. But only arguably. As it exists on a lifelong level, instead of an incident level. Rape breaks men sooooooo much faster than it breaks women. In my own experience. Women, have a MUCH harder time with their beauty being ruined. Wanna break a woman? Don’t f*ck her, against her will. She expects that. Cut off her nose. Slice her face. Take an eye. Remove nipples. A whole tit. And she’ll break as fast as a man f*cked in the ass by a crowd cheering and rubbing themselves off or ready.

Core beliefs? Are seeeeerious things.

If you want speed? Use the right ones.

Breast cancer, not being able to nurse one’s own child, and being infertile -for myriad reasons- tends to f*ck women’s sense of woman-hood/femininity up in maaaaaajor ways. So being removed of my sexual organs MIGHT make me doubt my sense of being female? Given stats? But, again, I couldn’t say. As that hasn’t been something I’ve experienced.

I was merely talking about baseline Justice. Rape & lose your sexual organs. Seems pretty basic / a place to start off with, to me. Continue raping, using objects? I’m all for removing someone’s arms. Go for 3? Third time’s the charm. Whether you prefer lifetime imprisonment or a sliced carotid. Goodbye.

I think this way after studying the success rate of ‘rehabilitation’ for these people which there is no and never has been any documentation to show they improve in any way under any circumstances. I believe these people are evil for whatever reasons and can not be salvaged. They are so psychologically damaged, it is a kindness to let them leave Earth rather than put them in solitary confinement which is my only other idea.

I would also add that having a ‘witness’ to a rape would make them an accomplis in some/most situations and may not be a credible source on its own. The way society protects rapists is truly disgusting and these people should be classified as the terrorists that they are.

And before anyone wants to bring up my spiritual morality to ‘not murder’ my fellow mankind, I will happily spend eternity in purgatory, hell, or any other punishment your ‘god’ wants to inflict or else I will surely talk him/her out of her stupidity in order to do what is truly morally right. What god would protect a rapist not a child and what god would want someone like that terrorizing its creation for a lifetime? One who hates humanity clearly and would be more suited with the title of devil than god. If you believe in reincarnation, then it is a kindness to kill the rapist and let them move into a hopefully, brighter future. As a Hermeticist, I’m inclined to have more faith but let’s be honest here, that faith is based on a Bible scripture that promises that Creator will punish the wicked far greater than any ‘revenge’ could hurt them. It is only from my hope that the true God has better punishments in mind for them than our puny castration ideas or death penalty.

Ok, I've thought of an even better example to use.

I think punitive brutality is incredibly stupid (although this seems to be the way we're headed), and I don't mind sticking up for accused perpetrators in this case. There's never been any research on this, but in my personal experience I have found that, for men in domestic violence relationships (where they are the victim, not perp), many if not most male victims have had false rape allegations threatened against them. So we'd better be damn well sure that accused rapists are real, actual rapists.

A few decades ago in the southern United States, rape was illegal. But there were two punishments meted out depending on what your skin color happened to be. If you were black, and were accused of raping a white woman - and the definition of "rape" in this case could mean something like "looked at a white lady one second too long" - you would be lynched. Sometimes you'd be castrated, too. And if your kind was seen as maybe getting a little too "uppity," there was no shortage of white women who could be found to make the appropriate accusation.

This is to a large extent what people here who want to cut parts off of people are condoning.

I've been accused of rape before, by the way. I didn't do it. It wasn't fun. But it would have been a whole lot more not fun if parts of me had been removed. Or if I had been killed, I suppose.

We could at least pretend to act civilized a quarter way through the 21st century.

Most rape is by men on women and girls and boys and most rape is sexually driven and not power driven meaning they mostly don’t use objects to force sexual acts; they use their body to derive pleasure from doing harm. Do your homework.

I doubt that very much. Afghanistan, its part of near becoming a man, to rape boys. There are tribes in countries where the boys are raped daily until they become a man, where they then are married to a woman, to then take another tribal boy to rape until they become a man. Rinse and repeat. Some cultures it is not rape, it is cultural and part of their belief system. More likely, to the countries listed, they see it as tragic and destructive, so they want to stop it within their cultures.

Cultural beliefs. Not right nor wrong, they just are. What you find normal and what another finds normal, very different.

Wow I didn’t know that. I only knew of things surrounding child brides and gentile mutilation of girls. I want to hear you, I really do. But all I keep thinking about is the children who don’t want this, to them it’s painful, it’s terrifying, it’s degrading, it’s still rape.
