Double damn, you are told it is a super full moon, the night is clear AND you forget to look - doh.

LOL! I know what you mean. My Mom even called to tell me to go get a photo of it.
It was parlty cloudy here so I didn't even bother to look. I should have driven up the hill just in case though :poop:

I knew my session Friday was going to be tough so I planned on stopping at the craft store to pick up a sketch pad and pencils on my way home. I'd been wanting to sketch the photo I created for my avatar. The photo is not as bright due to lighting, but here's my first attempt at drawing!

I got a couple pictures of the moon last night. Hard to convey the brightness in a photo, but it was REALLY bright where I am.

Alixipain - Those pictures are pretty powerful - I especially like the flower one.

Iam - great sketch! You have a definite talent for it - it came out SO good!

Lam! You are a woman of many talents! First an amazing eye with the camera and now a spectular creation with pen and paper as well. What's next? Building a spaceship out of paper clips:D:D;). I am in awe of your talents!

Awww Heather, you are always so encouraging :D I don't know if it's spectacular, but I am happy with my first attempt at drawing.

The main thing is that it helped me get past an incredibly hard EMDR session in which I dissociated. My T normally makes grounding comments with me when it's evident I am having a hard time. I was doing really well and then bam, I dissociated. It took us both by surprise. Oops....that's off topic isn't it!

Thanks again, I had fun drawing it. I see raw talent in both my photography and drawing. It will be fun to expand on it!
