Tomorrow this lady goes to a new home, where she will be ridden with the respect she deserves. Hubby is struggling big style about it all, but no good her been stuck int he back of the mini garage for the next 4 years, gathering more dust.

I hope he sends her off with a good heart, she never let us down, no matter how bad the wind and rain were.

The guy who is buying her, is like a kid, with big eyes and the excitement of a 6 year old at Christmas. He has her insured, a big space made in his garage, as well as a new polishing kit ready and waiting. Made numerous phone calls the another friend who is bringing him to collect her tomorrow morning.. To make sure we will be here ready and waiting, with her running like a dream.

She has been sat there for almost 4 years now Jesta. He openly admits she is way too powerful for him now, and too heavy as well. It is also getting too much for him to see every time he takes his small bike out.

So she is going to someone who will appreciated her style and power.

Why couldn't it sit in the garage. The joy of ownership means a hell of a lot to me.

I do agree with that a lot jesta, but on the same note once I decided that I was never likely to ride a bike again I would hate to deprieve someone else of such a nice bike.

Amethist I am glad she can now give someone else as much enjoyement as she gave you both. I feel for him and you it will be hard for you both parting with her. Had you been closer I would have been interested in her myself.

Hope he paid first:rolleyes:!

Money in the bank blwnawy, money in the bank. :D

As for popping wheelies LB, have you no respect for class. :roflmao:

Oh and he took it for an MOT today, passed with flying colours. Not bad for just a dust off and a few miles ridden after almost 4 years in storage.

Have you reserved visitation rights?

Seriously hope you can both be happy with the decision, if the price is right all party's should be content.

My wife says I can have a new bike , as long as I don't expect her to go on it ! Which just about takes all the point , purpose, fun and enjoyment out of it!
