Don't know, you probably have had all the suggestions about everything, but I have a book by a neuroscientist Dr David Servan-Schreiber. He had a brain tumour. He has written a book, "Anti Cancer a new way of life"

The book describes his experiences both as a doctor and patient. He looks at how cancer works and the relationship between the body its cancer and the immune system and the role of environmental toxins, nutrition, emotion and physical activity. So he is giving the reader tools to use to fight cancer along side the conventional treatments. A lot of stuff to do with the latest research on antioxidants etc. And everything he writes is backed up with medical research papers, which he references, so you can look them up yourself.

You probably have an awful lot of info there anyway, but I found this guy inspiring.

I just read up on your latest updates here and I can only admire your patience. That you haven't gone postal on these irresponsible people's *sses... I mean, okay, colorectal cancers are generally slow ones but you've got an effin' stage IV in your guts! Froggie dearest, if you're ever in need of a shotgun to speed up you finally getting some chemo into your system, I'll volunteer to get you one.

Oh, and call those journalists. I could build a shotgun phone for you, would hit two birds with one stone :D

I don't know what my doctor said, but I got a call today saying that they will proceed with chemo treatment seeing it's taking a long time to get an answer from Montreal for the operation. Will go for a TACO Friday, will be operated on the 12th to insert a gadget for drip (IV) and chemo will start during the week of the 17th. Will have a 2 hour treatment in hospital then will be on a drip machine for 48 hours (at home) and start all over 2 weeks later.
