I'm Doing This For Me, Because I'm Worth It

lol Two dogs and one is only 4 months old. Don't have much of a choise other than to walk. Got some of my flavored coffee. Keeps me from drinking the dew as much. But I found out I'm out of nectar ugh. I'll go back to the store tomorrow. One trip there a day is enough for me. Trying to think of what to make for dinner. A friend wants to cook for me today but I would rather do it myself. His stuff tends to be to fatty for me. Forgot to pick up my soy milk also..... need to make a list for shopping.

oh hey another good recipe

There is a soy meal replacement called Naturaid. Doesn't even taste like soy. But you can use it to make a nearly fat free Peach Cobbler Smoothy that is amazing.

2 cups water
4 level scoops Naturaid vanilla
I large peach pitted and cut to sections
1tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp coco powder

Combine all ingredients in a blender with about a cup of ice. Blend till smooth. Enjoy. If you can't find naturaid then use 2 cups soy or regular milk and add 1tsp vanilla and 1tbl agave nectar.

It is the start of week 2. I am proud I stuck to it last week. I did treat myself over the weekend, still had wine and chocolate but I was able to stop when I wanted to.

Last night I brought out a tin of chocolates, I chose 5 and then ignored the tin. That in itself is a small miracle for me. I would usually just eat, not really tasting what I was eating. By limiting myself I am eating slower and savouring what I'm eating.

This morning I got onto the scales, my weight still does not register :(, however I expected that and it hasn't made me reach for the biscuits. In fact the biscuit box hasn't even been opened.

I will keep doing what I did last week but will aim for slightly longer dog walks.

Your doing fab Kp keep at it the first week Hardest beating the temptation etc and your did great so way to Go. I'm Having weak Moment just back Gym And feel like a biscuit but so far avoiding. I had banana for my breakfast them just had soup and yoghurt for lunch. I booked in for program At gym later in week so will ask The Weigh measure me.

Keep thinking of that moment when the scales register :-)

Good on you (((KP)))

Those bloody scales are useless. Seem to work against us, even when you try to do the right thing. I know it's real hard, try and slowly reduce the number of chocolates down from 5, 4 etc. until you can get it down to a couple only. I stopped buying a lot of goodies to reduce the temptation. So now I only keep one or two treats in the house.

And don't hop on the scales everyday, it can make feel disheartened. All the best.;)

You're doing fab KP!! Keep it up! You'll be doing this soon!

I have had cereal with soya milk this morning and two pitta breads with Marmite n some snack-a-jacks.

KP I heard a long time ago, not to weigh yourself for a full 4 weeks after your first weigh in. Then not for another 4 weeks after that, then the following 2 weeks, then once a week from then on, and always first thing in the morning.

Always, before you eat, at the same time and wearing the same clothes, that way you have a base to follow all the time.

I know but I'm curious. I always weigh myself in the morning, always naked  because as you know pyjamas weigh about 10lbs :roflmao:. I even have a wee before weigh in and ......... well I won't say that ;).

The time I lost most weight was when our GP practise nurse monitored my weight monthly at a well woman clinic. I'm thinking about doing that again.

It has been another good day. I am sat drinking my milky drink.
