I'm Doing This For Me, Because I'm Worth It

I tried water aerobics once when my oldest was a baby. I enjoyed that, even though I was the "youngster" in a pool of elderly. Yet some of those elderly could outdo me outside of the pool I'm sure! My eldest is now 17, almost 18. I love water. I really should get back to it. I can't swim well, but you don't necessarily need that, right?

Not at all. We were asked to do something and I didn't feel comfortable so I went and held onto the pool side. I don't like being on my back and floating, I like to know where I'm going. Holding onto the pool side meant I could do the exercise without floating off. The instructor looked at me and then told the class to hold onto the side if they felt more comfortable.

At the start of every class, the instructor asks if there is anyone new and then has a chat to them. I've worked with 3 instructors and they have all done this to ensure newcomers are comfortable.

A plus is, I've made some friends and even have coffee with one of the instructors occasionally after a class.

Well done KP!

I walked to a local shopping centre on Thursday, it is a 4 mile round walk and I felt so exhausted after. I enjoyed the walk but it did feel like I was struggling; I think it is because i might still have a bit of post viral fatigue.

I also did some exercises and weights at home and ached all over the next day! My son's are teaching me and it's like having 2 personal coaches. :D
