Do You Ever Heal Enough To Stop?

I never thought it was possible to stop being so depressed, and suicidal but when I changed my focus from looking at all the things that I thought were bad in my life, and started looking at the tiny glimmers of positive moments in my day, and became more accepting of myself, I changed my focus. Things have become far more positive, I actually have moments in my day where I feel mildly happy, although I still struggle alot with self doubt.

I had a really bad inner critic in my head, I had become my own abuser, one I couldn't escape, I was unrelenting.

My self talk and my inner critic are more in check unless badly triggered, now when I have thoughts which is rare, they lack the same intent so I am no longer planning, and they are usually gone in less than hour or two, and don't usually come back.

Every one is different, I was badly affected by anti-depressants, but what really helped was accepting myself, it made a difference for me. Try not to lose hope.
 
to allow yourself to slip into such a narrow-minded reality... is an insult to the universe and the opportunity you have been given to grace this earth.... raising your vibration to attract the kind of experience and people you want in your life. Go out and make that life for yourself - no one is stopping you!

Focusing on your pain can only lower your vibration, which will increase the negative and repetitive situations you experience. Once you drop the fallacy that a negative mindset will expand your positive and fun experiences, you can truly be at peace with yourself and the world around you.

Presumably, @yoshixvs, you will never have a reason to post about anything negative or upsetting here on the forum. You won't allow yourself to slip into such a narrow-minded reality and insult the universe. You can just raise your vibration and attract the kind of experience you do want - no-one stopping you.

Of course, I don't expect you to never post about anything negative or upsetting. I assume you're here to get help and support with things like the rest of us. So I'm a bit stunned by your post here. If it's that easy to "create your reality", why would you be a member of the forum yourself? You would be walking around somewhere at peace with the world.

So - why say this to someone else about something they're going through?
 
Well then. While I don't wholly agree with yoshixvx. I do understand the reference to lowering vibrations... but for me it is "frequency"

I didn't read the post as unsupportive in the way apparently that you did. But if you'd like to go all in for a bash fest on someone elses thread carry on.

@The Albatross It's ok, I'm used to being the enemy. Clearly my response (an apology) to the initial post I made was overlooked in favour of beating a dead horse and attacking me over resolved issues. But I'm not going to take responsibility for that.
 
Actually Angel's reply to you was gracious so I was surprised, somewhat.

I do tend to largely agree with your position though as it also fits my direct personal experiences.
 
It does get better. Eventually those feelings will leave you alone. Sometimes when things go badly they may pop back into your mind but not your heart and they only do cos of past familiarity..

Your condition is hard and leaves you desperate sometimes. Its diffcult to get the proper help and its surrounded by misunderstanding and blame.

You will learn compassion for yourself over time and as you feel it youll come to believe you deserve it and then things will get better for you. Xxx
