I think Hillary is more mainstream (although more of the same). Bernie has excellent ideas but the Republicans in Congress will dig their resistant heels in. For example, our "affordable" care is nothing like the dems wanted and it was watered down to pass. However. .. I will be happy when either of them wins!!

I don't really love him but for purely selfish reasons. I'm gonna vote for him. I like weed and I don't think that he'll radically alter my life. Foreign policy is gonna be a disaster. Like I said on another thread they ALL need to be run out with pitchforks and torches!!! They all are a disaster...he'll probably be the smallest disaster, at worst in the same vein as Carter ie nice but useless.

Actually, Ed, I think Hillary would be quite good as a foreign policy maker. She did pretty well as Secretary of State. I love Bernie, but I wouldn't feel as confident with him in those shoes.

I would feel more confident actually, with him in charge hodge, I don't want to send my son off to war in 7 years, and I feel if anyone else (mainstream) wins, that is exactly where my son will go.

Hey, at least for VP, or a Democratic Cabinet spot (perhaps Commerce).

By the way, did EVERYONE READ THE OPINION COLUMN IN THE JAN. 22 NEW YORK TIMES BY A VET WITH PTSD? He exposes Palin's remarks which compound the stigma we all face.!

Of course she was talking at an endorsement rally for Trump in Oklahoma. But she linked her son's recent domestic violence arrest to combat PTSD, hinting that his violence was predictable, since he's back from deployment.

I think Palin's son was not in the service. I have not seen a news report stating that. Just that he was arrested for DV.

Hah! Why does it not surprise me to hear this? The web says, though that he did deploy in Iraq. As one spokesman against her said, (paraphrasing) It is ironic that she, who represents the party of 'personal responsibility' should try to shift the blame for her son's beating his girlfriend and threatening suicide on the Obama administration.

I would do a major search, but not tonight. I'm pretty sure he didn't serve. And in the end, what does that mean? He was still guilty of DV.
