Heres the update: Never did go back in Nov., extended to 1/2/17. T thinks I'm making good progress (I agree), and returning on 1/2/17 is not an option. I got my answer earlier that nothing was going to change at work, so what am I expecting. Off FMLA, now on straight medical leave. Applied for LTD through work with a 180 day elimination period, and I have to be an employee so no resigination. The medical leave will have me being an "employee on paper" so I will be able to get LTD benefits as I continue to recover. The place I work is not doing good financially. There is a hiring freeze, drs were let go. I have a feeling I'm totally better on the outside. I was told tonight that they are not going to rehire my position, which is a federal requirement, but that doesn't surprise me either.
Enjoy reading the message boards, but not active in answers. Thanks
