1st Steps!

My baby just took his 1st steps from one of his toys to me!

Totally off topic but makes me feel I'm getting something right. My heart is mush right now. I just text my partner as he's away still (because I stupidly asked him to give me a few days space after disclosing things to him). And I don't want to call him because it's too early right now and he usually never gets a lie-in with our baby.

Hence why I'm shouting it to the world lol. I know this is just a tiny milestone. But to me, after almost a year with postnatal depression, it makes me feel I'm finally getting something right and maybe I'm not as big a failure at parenting as I thought.

Would it be inappropriate to post a pic? I'm not too hip on the rules for posting personal pics esp of a child. It's just so cute though I guess you'd have to be here to see him. Maybe @joeylittle or @RussH could let me know?

Posting photos is your choice. If you're happy with pictures of him being in a public forum then share it :) (the one this thread is in is visible to public, not just members). There is also the media section where you can post photos and I think you can be more selective there about who they are visible to.

Wow GWhizz, I am so excited for you! I can imagine it must have been a very beautiful and joyful moment for you. Don't put yourself down, you're obviously doing a good job :) I'm sure with such a loving mother your baby will have a wonderful childhood.
