How about Grandchildren? :D Hmmm, 2 or 3 years ago, got an international gift early. Saving it for Christmas. It was the lone present under the tree for weeks. One day, I was watching my grandson and I suddenly realized that he was not making noise and I didn't know where he was. I found him in the corner behind a chair. My gift in his hands mostly unwrapped and the look on his face was priceless. He was maybe 3? He just looked at me with this look of "BUSTED" and worry. (ADDED: and I should say dissapointment that it was not a toy, LOL)
So I spanked him. NO, NO, NO. Kidding. We made it a teachable moment. No tears. And I put the gift aside until Christmas, just like I have my forum gift set aside and waiting now.
OK, OK, I admit it, I went back upstairs and looked at it yesterday. As I had posted before, it came from Amazon.com and no indication that it was a Kris Kringle gift. So I peeked again. NOW who has the "BUSTED" look on his face? :rolleyes:
