5 Things I Am Grateful For

1. I have started to see the other options besides staying in school this semester and am starting to get excited about the future again
2. I am reading a really fascinating book on my kindle, and my professor has a bunch of books she's been meaning to lend me, so I'm excited to see those as well
3. I see the light at the end of the tunnel for a lot of the stressful things in my life
4. Hubby and I are talking about plans to have a baby after I graduate, which is exciting!
5. I have a lot of supportive people in my life, thank G-d
 
1. That my kids are home with me today.
2. That I found some things that soothe me - crocheting and coloring.
3. That I'm picking up crocheting after 30 something years without much issue. Of course the yarn I chose hides the errors well, so I can't tell. ;) That helps relieve any anxiety I may have about perfection.
4. That I found a book to read.
5. That I was able to get some housework done yesterday. Possibly today, I may wash the floors. Though that seems kind of futile since it is a big snow mess outside that will get traipsed into my house!

2. I am grateful I have a computer and the internet
3. I am grateful I have a power wheelchair
4. I am grateful I can walk better now
5. I am grateful I now have people who I can talk to about serious stuff.
 
1. I am grateful that I did some study today.
2. I am grateful that I stopped judging and harassing myself today.
3. I am grateful that I caught up with a friend.
4. I am grateful that I got to hang out with some nice women.
5. I am grateful that I made steps to get some glasses today.
 
I have the money to pay for luxuries like my having my nails and hair done.
I am happy that my daughter and the girls are being left alone and safe now.
That my husband is safe and well and having a better day.
That I can manage the running of the household.
That I am capable of driving without anxiety now.
 
1. Being aware of my choices and the results of those choices
2. Helping a friend with a substance abuse problem - but not trying to fix her (she is the only one who can do that)
3. Choosing not to drink alcohol anymore as it messes up the effectiveness of my medication
4. Drinking lots of water last night to flush the few drinks I had out of my system
5. Yorkshire pudding in the oven
 
1. I am grateful that I can have emotions and have release. Much easier than denial and dissociation.
2. I am grateful that I am seeing more and more in my life to be grateful about.
3. I am trying things out. I am going out with lots of people. I am trying new people and social networks out. I am grateful for the opportunities.
4. I am grateful that B has been so supportative to me over my trigger last Friday.
5. I am grateful that I can work on things bit by bit.
 
1. I took lunch with me today.
2. I had lots of water with me.
3. I was prepared with materials.
4. I had some good brushes.
5. I was pretty organised.
 
1. The energy I had yesterday.
2. Cleaning and organizing my storage. Seriously, why do we hold on to garbage?
3. Gathering things for donation.
4. A supportive husband.
5. Great kids.
