5 Things I Am Grateful For

1) Being able to talk freely about things that really matter, without being shut down
2) Having a first-aid kit for my PTSD grounding
3) Having what it takes for each of my little to stay grounded
4) Having kind neighbors
5) Being able to go to church on Sunday
 
1. Publicly run office that helps with rights of tenants and people applying for welfare -- the government here is horrid to deal with and make people wait months with nothing.
2. Taking a nap with my dogs
3. Drinking water today
4. Stopping when I was tired instead of over doing things
5. Breaking daunting things into smaller pieces
 
1. Putting post its on the wall beside my bed to remind myself of things that make me happy, when I feel bad I have a really hard time identifying these things
2. Making a cake today (I had a dream about making a rainbow chip cake and then I did in real life)
3. Taking things less personally
4. Consistent sleep
5. Being more patient with my dogs
 
My brother in law and my sister in law making phone calls on my behalf to get home health services.
My HMO covers hospice for the last six months of life.
My stepdaughter who is coming over for a visit.
Taking valentines over to my daughters this week
Not taking personally what mean things my husband has to say to me.
 
1. Living in a first world country with access to medicine.
2. Being able to get out of bed today.
3. That my stomach is still working.
4. Rehydration fluids.
5. Boiled potato - which tastes so delicious when you are sick.
 
1) The lake here that I can go to, like today, and walk around it, soak in some sunshine, see the geese, do some meditating, lots of hours have been spent there!

2) My home which has been my home for a very long time, thus, no house payments!

3) Being able to receive "Survivor's Benefits" from Social Security especially since I retired early.

4) My computer, so very necessary these days!

5) All the changes that I have made in myself and in my home over the past year, takes my breath away at times!
