Hell, I can imagine the replies to this already - did you see a doctor about this? are you sure you dont have Alzheimer's disease? That you brain is not slowly deteriorating?

Nooo, this is what people with dissociative issues go through. And I know i have dissociative and mild hallucinating issues (psychosis), because psychiatrists have diagnosed me with such.

Ya see, not only people with PTSD are on this forum, but people with psychosis too remember?

But this is a PTSD forum, not a psycosis forum or a BPD forum or a DID forum or anything else. Yes comorbilty is here, I have BPD & GAD along with PTSD but PTSD is why im here and what i mostly post about. This isnt a BPD support forum and because I needed BPD help & support when I first joined I found a website that would support BPD and threw everything at it.

It is not the community's job to "remember" or support psycosis.

I don't care what community this is, if you can't understand the simple fact that there are people with different communicative abilities, you shouldnt be able to speak at all either.

Really? This is written form. How do we best support you of we cant understand what you need?

the only thing i want to talk about right now, is that you should assume that people here havent had a proper diagnosis -

We shouldnt assume anything as assuming is non-productive.

Maybe this isnt the place for you, I dont know but I do know that this is a you issue, not a community issue.

ETA: Im still a member of that other site so when i need BPD like help i go there and PTSD like help i come here.

Read that thread Xray but didn't comment. Rule of thumb around here is that it's best to keep in mind... some questions or queries aren't judgments per se... but people trying to be assistive each in their own way. I didn't particularly agree, when I read it about the autism spectrum stuff and sort of saw it as "arm chair quarterbacking" sorry for that and the distress it's caused you.

"... the only thing i want to talk about right now, is that you shouldnt assume that people here havent had a proper diagnosis - when they have had it. and if just the other day, we can all get together to make a big mess of me and my issues and diagnosing me with autism for not communicating as coherently as you, you would need to start utilizing your empathy as well.

I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DONT THINK IM HAVING THE SAME ISSUES YOU DO."

Whole heartedly agree.

Xray... you certainly don't have to cater to the room/readership... in fact, I'd advise you not to cuz it's a whole lot more difficult to get a bead on a situation if you're self censoring and need an opinion on something or have a difficult issue. Don't let this bug you, huh? One of my filters is... "Is this person well meaning/good willed?" Most often the answer is yes.

I had a habit, when I first joined, of writing without breaking up it in paragraphs and having a shit ton of typos; the reason was i was trying to get my reply in on a phone on a break at work. What it caused was many had problems reading it. I got this feedback both privetly and publiclly and took it as critisim and then made a "listen here im not changing how i type" thread.
@lostforgottensoul, I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible amount of progress you have made since you joined. I didn't participate much in those earlier threads, but I've observed from a distance, and you are doing so much better! I hope you're giving yourself credit. Wonderful work!

How do you lead a horse to water? Well first off you meet 'em where they are. People can be wrong in their suggestions or assumptions... hell I'm one of them. Just shake it off and remember that in spite of what you read... this is a mental health forum and a goodly number of us have a mental health issue/diagnosis or several but, generally members are well intentioned. (?) edited again.
