He had a good hit on Monday. :)

Again, what is happening is I am projecting my past onto him. I want him to succeed because I had so much trouble with sports.

Here in my grandmother years, I am more convinced than ever that his/her own childhood experience is all any parent has to work with. Even parenting classes still need to filter through your own experience. The fact that you are consciously filtering with current awareness makes me think you have a very lucky son, whatever his own successes and failures. It is not about being perfect. It is about working it out.

Hope you gave him a treat to celebrate that hit!!! GO-o-o-O SLUGGER!!!
