See what as different? Not sure what you define as normal emotional numbing?Does anyone else see this as a bit different to "normal" emotional numbing? A bit confused at present. It seems very different to me.

This is a bit what happens when I bring up new memories. I didn't remember much abuse, but had severe PTSD. Once I started therapy, I flooded with memories. It was horrid. I now try to pace myself with the memories, but when I remember something, it really hits me like it is happening now. Otherwise, it is just my post therapy crappy processing days.I often don't feel anything in the moment at all and in fact sometimes don't have access to the information either. It is then as if a time delay is set off and randomly all the emotions hit me after - a little like being hit by a truck.
