Other Alcohol Treatment Centers

I need a recommendation on a treatment center for alcoholism. It can be anywhere in the United States but it needs to have the capacity of drying out and treatment. Some facilities won't take you until you dry out and that is not an option.
Is Betty Ford still a good place? As well, this isn't for a young adult it is for a geriatric adult so going to a hardcore dry out center is likely not a good idea either. I know it sounds like I am looking for something easy but I believe that the fit is important too. Any suggestions?

Are you looking for Dual-Diagnosis (addiction + mental health, esp if you plan on being on any other meds, or expect a resurgence of symptoms without alcohol blurring them) or straight alcohol treatment?

Most facilities don’t have medical detox, but most are also paired with hospitals who do. Meaning that if you find a facility & program you like, you ask them to either arrange/coordinate a medical detox or how to arrange/coordinate a medical detox prior to admittance, so you don’t have any gap in care.

Well, it's not for me but yes dual diagnosis would be good. When I tried to find a place for my dad I didn't receive much help with his detox. They basically told me to bring him after he had been detoxed. It was not as easy as what you describe hence the reason I was asking here. Perhaps there is a place that is more comprehensive? If so, who?

@Rumors I'm not sure where you live but I just did a quick google search for dual diagnosis centers with medical alcohol detox and found places all over the U.S. have have inpatient detox and ongoing inpatient programs you could start there.
