Samson put a approximate time 2 or 3 years? If you quality of life was improved say 80% It would be worth it and yes processing takes time. It was real slow at first for me. Now I just processed 3 traumas in two one and a half hour session's. I am going down faster and also up faster as if my brain is getting used to it. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Always remind yourself of the progress you have made and if you are not sure where you are at ask the therapist. My therapist is always celebrating me and reminding me of where I started a year and a half ago. We often do not give our self true credit for our accomplishments. Symptoms of the PSTD as you know.

It is totally going to be worth it in the end. It can get really discouraging in the middle. I can feel really good for a few weeks and then BAM - I'm down again with anxiety and fear. My T has told me this will start to go faster. He has described what you are saying that people begin to process multiple traumas at a time. I sure look forward to that.

Thank you for your reply. :)

I am hearing you Samantha. I experience the dark times. It has been difficult and I can't sugar coat that The symptoms of PTSD are up and down. As we reprocess this anxiety should lessen and I am told by the T her clients are cured of the symptoms? We can do this!
